  • Mahnaz Afkhami, executive director.
  • Ezzat Aghevli, chief administrative officer, was deputy minister of cooperatives and rural affairs (1973-1975) and deputy secretary general of Women’s Organization of Iran (1975-1979) before the revolution. She joined the Foundation for Iranian Studies at its creation in 1982.
  • Pari Yahyai, pubications assistant, prepares the Foundation's publications for printing, including all issues of Iran Nameh, all the volumes in the series on Iran’s development, as well as other books and pamphlets published by FIS.
  • Hormoz Hekmat, Editor of Iran Nameh, the Foundation's quarterly journal of Iranian Studies. Fulbright Scholar (1958-1959); Taught political science and international law at Utica College of Syracuse University (1967-1970) and Theran University (1974-81); Senior fellow at Tehran Research Cernter for Social Sciences (1975-1977); Member of the Iranian Academy of Languages (1976-1978) Member of the board of legal advisors to Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (1977-1978).
